At Car Rental 8, we take care of all of your needs!
When you reserve your rental car with Car Rental 8, we include all charges as part of our quoted rates (except noted 'Basic' rates). Our rates include Third Party insurance as well as Accident Insurance, also known as a Collision Damage Waiver (CDW). The CDW is a mandatory insurance covering costs in the event of an accident on public roads with another vehicle or damages as a result of vandalism. In addition to the CDW, Car Rental 8 includes Theft Protection insurance (TP) covering costs as a result of theft of the vehicle. In summary, Car Rental 8 rates always include Third Party insurance, CDW, and TP on all car types and at all locations, except where noted as a Basic rate.
In the unfortunate event of damages such as theft, fire, vandalism or an accident, the above insurances will cover the amount of the damages/loss, minus any personal liability costs. Personal liability is the amount for which you are personally responsible for and any costs not covered by the above insurances will be charged to your credit card used for the rental.
Even though all the required insurances are included, you are still financially responsible for the personal liability, even if you are not at fault. We at Car Rental 8 are well aware that you may be driving in an unfamiliar country with different driving habits and with a car you are perhaps not familiar with. However, because Car Rental 8 believes that your car rental experience should be stress free, we offer the following :
The Car Rental 8 NoRisk Warranty!
Should your rental car get damaged due to an accident, fire or vandalism not covered by the standard insurances, Car Rental 8 will reimburse you for any personal liability charges incurred. Upon your return from vacation, just fill out our NoRisk declaration, attach the required documents and send to us for processing. We will then process your file quickly and reimburse you within four weeks in accordance to our general conditions.
The Norisk Warranty is an exclusive Car Rental 8 product!
Why Purchase Our NoRisk Warranty
There are 5 important reasons :
- Savings : The Car Rental 8 NoRisk Warranty is inexpensive. Reducing the amount of personal liability at pick-up destinations can vary per day, depending on the car type and/or destination.
- Unique : Our NoRisk Warranty covers damages to the windshield, tires, chassis, and other vehicle areas. These items may not be included when purchasing the Super CDW locally, even at their higher rates!

Important: If you have purchased our NoRisk Warranty, it is no longer necessary to opt for a Super CDW or Super Cover locally when you pick-up the rental vehicle. Make sure you read the rental agreement carefully before signing, as you will not need those coverages because we have got you covered!
